Grab Hoards of Traffic with Video

You have without doubt seen those Keith Wellman style sales videos by now. They work amazingly well, but what about using video just for getting traffic? You should be making at least one video a week and loading it into your YouTube channel. If you aren’t doing that, you should be. Here are some easy ways that you can use video as a traffic tactic right now:

Transform your articles!

You’ve gone to a lot of work writing that article you just uploaded to a directory. Because of the duplicate content issue, you really can’t use it anywhere else online, but… what if you turned it into a video?

Get a video screen capture software that will allow you to run slides with appropriate images and just a line or two of the article. Then, read the article into your voice recorder and you’ll be all set.

Camtasia makes this all possible. It allows you to create your slides, and then just record from Power Point, for example. It’s amazing!

If you don’t have Camtasia, you could get a cheaper, but far less intuitive solution, called Sony Vegas. It’s really a great piece of software and can do far more than Camtasia, once you learn it. The issue here is that it’s not as easy to use, so the learning curve can be steep. But once you learn Vegas, it will be great not only for creating a slide presentation, but for editing live action video, as well.

PC Users can also use Windows Movie Maker, which comes with all PCs. Again, the slide have to be added individually, but you can figure that out pretty quickly. Windows Movie Maker also allows you to add narration to accompany each slide.

Several people are headed in the direction of Apple computing, and for those, you can use a couple of different softwares. One is iMovie, which comes with the Mac. In exchange for PowerPoint, Mac users have the option of using Keynote. You can buy Camtasia for Mac now, too.

Whatever you decide, don’t let those articles go only in one place! Put them into your autoresponder follow-up series, and make videos from them. People have different ways of learning so by creating videos, so you’ll help the visual and auditory learners, too! Nothing like too much attention, eh?
